Rhodium-plated silver is fine sterling silver that is polished and dipped in rhodium. It has a bright finish, similar to white gold items, and it doesn’t tarnish like plain silver. The Ruby used in this design is Lab created Ruby which has the same chemical components as the natural Ruby, but with better clarity and more affordable price.

The 40th wedding anniversary is known as a ruby wedding anniversary; both the traditional and modern gifts given on this very special occasion are ruby. Ruby is one of the most desirable gemstones.
