How Much Does a Wedding in Austria Cost?

You will need to pay a series of administrative fees, such as the marriageability interview (€50) and foreign certificate submissions (€130).

In addition, you will have to pay federal administrative fees, which differ depending on the circumstances of the wedding and range from €5.45 – €54.50.

Legal Requirements for Getting Married in Austria

If you do not have a residence in Austria but want to get married or enter into a civil partnership in Vienna, you should contact the division for tourist weddings (Referat für Touristenhochzeiten) at touristwedding@ma63.wien.gv.at. In the email you should include your full names, wedding date of your choice, country of birth, nationality and home address.

Birth certificate.
