What Is The Weather Like in Bali?

The ideal months to visit Bali and enjoy its beaches are from June to September since the weather is often sunny, the heat is not too severe, and the wind helps to keep things cool. A few isolated showers or thunderstorms may occur every once in a while; however, these types of storms are more likely to occur overnight and in the early hours of the morning. August is the best month to travel since it has the fewest chances of rain.

May and October are other months that you may want to take into consideration; in fact, they are the best ones among those that do not fall in the high season since even if they are somewhat more humid and wet, they are still outside of the true rainy season. However, thunderstorms are rather common in interior and mountainous regions.

What should you pack for your trip?

Because the temperature in Bali is high throughout the year, you should pack light clothing made of natural fibers, a sun hat, a scarf to protect you from the wind, and a lightweight sweater for the evenings. You may want to bring a lightweight raincoat or an umbrella from November through March.

Bring your snorkeling gear, especially water shoes or shoes with rubber soles, with you when you go to the reef.

Bring along some hiking boots, a fleece top or sweater, a windbreaker, and an umbrella if you plan on doing any mountain climbing.
